Go Queensland! Balloons at Riparian Plaza.

Everyone wears their jerseys or maroon things and emails fly back and forth all day between states and eventually they actually play a game of league. This year the first game is in Brisbane. View from University Of Queensland

What a lovely house. Also: a CityCat with a flag. We're not sure if they always have flags or if it's just for Anzac Day. Eddie Izzard would know - he's the expert on flags.

Sunset

The sun sets over South Bank, behind QPAC, the Wheel of Brisbane and the Chinese lantern display celebrating the Buddha Birth Day Festival... all bookended by two picturesque cranes.
